Dear Daniel,

I have come to this page and often had victories, setbacks, and too many comebacks to count. Through it all I have kept the faith that one day I would see the brilliant lights of Broadway and that I could be walking the red carpet at the Academy Awards.

Part of this success has always looked like I would have a manager or an agent or any number of things.

I finally learned how you make the shortlist for the Oscars with a brilliant short film. You fucking bypass the film festival circuit altogether. Save your money for a week long theatrical run. It qualifies you to. You go the festival route you spend as much money ultimately.

Letters to Daniel:A Prelude is, along with a slick pitch deck and another rewrite of the full pilot script is how we are going to pitch studios and streamers our television version of our feature film.

We’re moving forward on some amazing stuff with the Guardian.

With creative freedom comes responsibility. Adding to Recovery Unplugged, is a web series were developing a nine part limited run which will be edited into a documentary.

I have all these plans to get DVD distribution. Online distribution. Super excited for all these things. Not mention my new festival.

Or the play we begin workshopping tonight.

Sending lots of love out into the Universe.

Amy
