Dear Daniel,
It was the best of times, it was the worst if times. I have climbed, I have strived, I have struggled. And Daniel I’m here, at the precipice and at your altar to give thanks to you and the platform that was born when I fell into fandom of your work, and the light of kindness and compassion of God which seems to shine from within. Branson International Film Festival was truly the best of times. It was that moment for me and the wonderful ladies Anabelle Munro and Lureen Wu as we pitched The Guardian: Sacrifice and Letters to Daniel: the Series and Gemini Rising.
It was the best of times. Joshua Carpenter said yes to distributing Letters to Daniel, yes to the Guardian: Sacrifice, and to Gemini Rising, now the Assassin’s Redemption.
Then today an emotionally draining day. Last night my earbuds got caught between the monitor and keyboard and shattered the LCD monitor. The wifi went bust. But the hard drive was fine. I drive up to ALLGOOD COMPUTERS. They weren’t open. They were on vacation. Until May 24th.
A cavalcade of money problems were piling up like singles in stripper’s purse at the end of the night.
It was the best of times. After an emotional breakdown film family and friends who are truly my friends and family rallied around my broken heart, prayed for me, and mended that heart.
So truly for those working to make it happen it can happen. There will be peaks, there will be valleys, you will get knocked down, but if you get back up truly glorious things will occur.
